CMDI Tagum conducts business symposium

The CARD-MRI Development Institute, Inc. (CMDI) Tagum City Campus conducted, “Entrepreneurial Mindset”, a symposium on start-up entrepreneurship and franchising on 24 January 2019 and it was attended by college and ABM students of CMDI along with visitors from Kapalong National High School.

The event was graced by Kalye Negosyo founder and “former advertising executive-turned-entrepreneur-turned-entrepreneurial advocate” Jorge Noel Wieneke. He is also the co-founder of Potato Corner and current president of Tokyo Tempura.

Mr. Wieneke discussed about setting goals and the mind to become a successful entrepreneur. He shared the following tips to overcome failure: Acknowledge your fear; understand your fear; strategize; internalize; and create an action plan. “Remember, without a goal you cannot score”, he emphasized to the students.

CMDI is one of the first schools in Tagum City to offer the BS Entrepreneurship with Specialization in Microfinance program. The school envisions being a globally-respected institution that provides exceptional practitioner-led training and education services to create competent and dedicated people who empower and uplift economically challenged individuals.
