CMDI: 19 years and counting

CARD-MRI Development Institute, Inc. (CMDI) marked its 19th year on 14 February 2019 with a simple program in its main campus in Brgy. Tranca, Bay, Laguna. This year’s theme is “Edukasyong Tumutugon sa Makabagong Hamon ng Panahon”, a fitting theme as CMDI is gradually gearing towards digitalization and embracing the challenges and demands of modern education.

February 14 is widely known as Valentine’s Day, a day for celebrating love. Flowers and sweets abound as a symbol of love and affection. But for CMDI, this day is also the time to celebrate the founding anniversary of CARD MRI’s foremost training and education arm. For 19 years now, CMDI has evolved from a simple training center in 2000 to a formal training institute in 2005 and now a school specializing in microfinance and making a positive impact to its immediate community.
