CMDI Tagum teachers prepare for the new school year

Thirty-four teachers of the CARD-MRI Development Institute, Inc. (CMDI) Tagum City Campus underwent a series of trainings and orientations organized by the CMDI management from June 6 to 11, 2019 in preparation for the school opening this June.

The senior high school and college teachers were inspired and motivated in their training about “Serving from the Heart, Commitment to Teaching” and “Classroom Management”. The speaker, Luis Prudencio “Luden” Salamat is an experienced teacher, training officer, principal, and Head-Teacher for Professional Development Office of PAREF Southridge School in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

He shared valuable advice and discussed further on the foundation of trust, the significance of knowing the ‘why and what’ in the chosen career, and provided helpful inputs on effectively managing a class and become a better teacher.

“It is the heart of a teacher that makes the difference in the classroom and ‘Teacher’ is a title we teachers should all deserve to attach before our names.” Salamat emphasized. He also advised the teachers to be more deliberate in planning classroom activities so that they help in achieving the intended learning objectives.

The third leg of the training focused on ITmate Version 3 and eProcess and was facilitated by CMDI’s Information Security Officer Rommel Paolo Angeles. He oriented the teachers on the purpose and function of these two platforms, which CARD MRI considers as an important step towards paperless transactions.  He further presented the basic features and demonstrated filing an incident ticket.
