CMDI Bay Campus officially starts new school year

CARD-MRI Development Institute, Inc. (CMDI) opened the senior high school and college classes for school year 2019-2020 on June 13, 2019 and June 17, 2019, respectively, at its main campus in Brgy. Tranca, Bay, Laguna.

Dr. Dolores M. Torres, Dean of Department of Business and Management Bay Campus, Ms. Lorenza dT. Bañez, Dean of Department of Accountancy, Ms. Deverna Briones, Vice President for Administration and Academic Affairs, and Ms. Flordeliza L. Sarmiento, CARD-MRI Managing Director, officially opened the classes along with the faculty members and staff. They encouraged the students to join CARD-MRI in its vision to eradicate poverty.

A semester starter program was also held on June 24, 2019 at the school grounds. Dr. Edzel Ramos, Executive Vice President and Ms. Deverna Briones, Vice President for Academic Affairs, welcomed and inspired the students by highlighting family spirit as one of the core values of CARD MRI. They highlighted that CMDI will guide the students to be respectful towards each other just like how parents, children, and siblings respect each other.

Games, photo booths, and club registrations were prepared for a fresh and enjoyable start. Students were encouraged to join clubs to meet new people and to figure out their interests and share what they are passionate about.

In a special number, the faculty members, CMDI Movers, and CMDI Voices performed during the program and lastly, club advisers and officers were also introduced.

The semester starter program will be held every first semester to make the student’s stay with CMDI more fun and exciting.

Rose Marie Catapang, Senior High School Principal, encourages everyone to enjoy and join different clubs and activities.

Students actively participate in the parlor games prepared by Office of the Students Affair and Services (OSAS).
